1500 CYCLISTS ATTENDED 10TH CYCLE FOR HEALTH COMPETITION

Alor Setar, 02 October 2018 â€“ The 10th Cycle for Health was organized on 16th September 2018 by Alor Setar LM Bikers Club comprises both 60 kilometers and 100 kilometers routes all around Northern Kedah. The flag off point was at Isuzu Alor Setar 3S Centre, followed to Alor Mengkudu, Pendang, Bukit Jenun, a pit stop at Indah Utara Industri Sdn. Bhd. and back to Isuzu Alor Setar.

It was organized with the objective of promoting the sport of cycling as a healthy lifestyle and to build the spirit of patriotism among the local community by commemorating Malaysia Day. The cycling event is jointly collaborated with Indah Utara Auto and Isuzu Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. It was attended by 1500 cyclists from all around Malaysia.

At the flag off ceremony, the president of Alor Setar LM Bikers Club, Mr. Poh Cheng Hai expressed his appreciation of all the efforts made by Indah Utara and Isuzu Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

“We are very grateful to organize this event with the support from Indah Utara and Isuzu Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. With this partnership, we are able to make this cycling event, one of the largest in Malaysia.”

Chief Operating Officer of Isuzu Malaysia, Mr. Masayuki Suzuki has emphasized his admiration of the adventurous spirit of all the participants. He commented that an outgoing lifestyle is synonymous with the Isuzu brand, and that being able to promote a healthy way of health is also necessary for personal productivity as well as for the country.

Indah Utara Managing Director Mr. Poh Seng Hooi expressed his confidence and excitement over this cycling event.

“This event is important for us as we would like to take this opportunity to fulfil our corporate social responsibility. It has enabled us to strengthen the bond between us and the local community. We are proud that we had this opportunity to collaborate in this memorable 10th time of the event.”
