ISUZU T.E.C UNITED AUTO 4X4 CONVOY 2019: LARGEST CONVOY TRIP ORGANIZED BY ISUZU MALAYSIA IN EAST COAST TO PROMOTE ACTIVE 4X4 LIFESTYLE

Kota Bharu, Kelantan 1st of May, 2019 – Isuzu T.E.C United Auto 4×4 Convoy 2019 is deemed as one of the largest convoy trip organized by Isuzu Malaysia and its dealer in East Coast to date with participation of more than 50 units of Isuzu D-Max and more than 200 pax of participants.

The objective of the convoy according to Mr. Tan Yiew Sun from T.E.C. United Auto Sdn Bhd (Isuzu Malaysia’s sole distributor in Kelantan) is to foster closer ties with the local 4×4 community and Isuzu’s loyal customers in East Coast as part of T.E.C United Auto Sdn Bhd yearly engagement plan. The journey itself provides opportunities for bonding and the chance to explore iconic tourist’s spots within Malaysia.

Cameron Highland is once again the destination of choice due to popular demand because of its cool weather, scenic environment and off-road experience availability. There were 2 such trips previously conducted by T.E.C United Auto in 2007 and 2013, all with overwhelming support and much requests for an upcoming one.

The more than 350KM route this time starting from T.E.C United Auto Sdn Bhd showroom in Kota Bharu will bring the participants through interesting stops at Kuala Krai, Gua Musang, Lojing and ultimately ending in Cameron Highlands. This will be a short yet meaningful getaway that will last for 3 days from 1st of May till 3rd of May as those who signed up will be imparted with crucial knowledge in vehicle care, safety driving and best practice / approach to many technicalities of off-road driving. Isuzu Malaysia will support the knowledge transfer by having its experience technical trainer to conduct the training in Cameron Highland.

To commemorate the special occasion, a welcome dinner was held in Cameron Highland on the 2nd of May and participated by Mr. Masayuki Suzuki, the COO of LCV division of Isuzu Malaysia Sdn Bhd. In his speech, he thanked those who participated and hope to see more of such event in the future where it brings together and unite the Isuzu family members from different background: principal, dealers and loyal customers. Mr. Masayuki Suzuki also reiterated that Isuzu D-Max is a very versatile 4×4 vehicle both for work and for fun as seen in this convoy, which fits the lifestyle needs of today demanding customers who are looking for dual usage vehicles that can go anywhere in any terrain conditions.
