Over 740 Isuzu D-MAX owners gathered at 40 dealerships nationwide to participate in the respective outlets’ D-MAX Merdeka Convoy in honour of Malaysia’s 69th independence day this year.
Various programmes were organized during the Merdeka season for owners according to location although the key moment across the board was the singing of Negara-ku prior to the event kick-off.
The D-MAX Merdeka Convoy has become a popular annual event organized by Isuzu Malaysia together with its nationwide network of authorized dealers since 2023. Its popularity continues to grow as owners enjoy the opportunity to drive their trucks, network with fellow owners and build friendships.
Organised as a means to create a meaningful hari Merdeka celebration, the event also serves as a platform for owners to enjoy driving their Isuzu D-MAX and discovering the many attractions the country has to offer.
Among the activities that owners participated in included beach escapades, forest experience, farm visit, pewter crafting, visit to an orphanage, BBQ sessions and more.
Apart from offering Isuzu D-MAX owners exclusive lifestyle experiences, the D-MAX Merdeka Convoy also allows dealers to interact more closely with owners, create a stronger relationship with them and share special packages and promotions periodically including the current ‘Buddy Referral Campaign’ where owners can receive vouchers worth RM2,000 for successful sales they refer to the dealers.
